Remember when I mentioned entering a contest? Well I randomly got a package from Lego last night with a new set of Legos and a letter stating I am a finalist. This brings me so much joy, especially considering all I've been going through lately. I know I might not end up being the grand prize winner, but just getting this far feels like a giant step. I ended up talking to my good friend Danielle last night about it and she just encouraged me to keep writing. Some ideas may go further than others, but just to keep going. I'm proud and excited. I hope I am making a strong impression on my children to pursue their dreams no matter how big or small.
