MOM FILES: My Three Stooges

I have three wonderful children, 2 boys 7 and 11mo, and a girl 6. They are my everything, inlcuding free entertainment!  There isn't a day that goes by that I don't have a new and exciting story about them.

My seven year old is a trip. He is obsessed with Michael Jackson. I think he wants to be Michael Jackson! My in-laws bought all the older grandchildren mp3 players for Christmas and I've been tortured ever since.  At first I thought this is such a great idea! The kids can listen to their music and play their video games and not bother me!  Nope, I was wrong. What ended up happening was while he was listening to his beloved MJ, he was also singing it loud and proud for the rest of us to hear as well! His favorite song is Beat It. I now HATE that song! You hear me, hate, hate, hate that song! Oh then the battery died, yes it takes AAA batteries, and I had a tiny peice of heaven for about two days. Then he discovered daddy did buy new batteries and the torturing commenced again! *Sigh* The best part though, is the dancing! Oh yeah, he dances too! But don't ask him to do it, he will shut down real quick!   He watched MJ on youtube so he can soak up his moves and practices daily. Well if he doesn't make it as an MJ impersonator he still has a brain to fall back on.  He is very smart, thought he had tourettes though hahaha. He skipped 2nd grade so I know his future is bright.

My daughter, oh my daughter. She is very gorgeous and smart too. I think she know's it. she tries to play people. Mmmhmmm, I know her scheme, but it doesn't work on me!  She wants to be the boss, but she isn't ready.  Not for this job!  One day when dropping them off at school, she told the seven year old, who was already at the school entrance, to come back to the car so he could close the car door.  He tried to get out of it, bless his little heart, but she insisted and low and behold he walked all the way back to the car to close her door.  Such a gentleman.  I couldn't believe it!  Then the next day he stood next to the car to wait for her to get out so he could close her door!  Sometimes she is rough like the boys. She loves to play baskeball, but my husband says she can't play in school because he thinks she will become a lesbian, whatever.  Other times she gets a little girlie and wants her nails painted and her lips to be glossy.  I love when she gets girlie, it gives us bonding time! As a matter of fact, we were so bored last night we decided to do our nails at midnight!

My last child is such a goofball! He always has a smile on his face and I just love it! His entrance into this world was a traumatic experince, which is why I'm not having anymore. He thinks he is slick. Last night he kept trying to get into the kitchen. He would think he has outsmarted me by crawling through my legs and as soon as he is about to touch the kitchen floor, I grab him and put him back in the middle of the living room. And each time we went through this he screamed and hollered while I was putting him back in the living room, but as soon as he would make it past me, he would start laughing. Such a silly kid.  I just want to know why it's so damn hard to change his diaper now!  Doesn't mister smarty pants know the routine by now?  I lay you down, clean your butt, put a fresh diaper on and we're good to go! Oh no, it can't be that simple though. He wants to twist and turn and grab this, chew on that! Drives me nuts!  Sometimes he gives me false hope. He lifts his legs for me and hold them while I'm cleaning him. As soon as that part is done, he tries to escape!  I'm like, hey, I thought we were  working together this time. I guess not!  My sister says, he's an aquarius, they like to explore. I'm fine with that, just not while I'm cleaning up poop! Oh and did I mention his fascination with blackberry's? I wonder business he has?

Anywho, that is an intro to my entertaining kids. I'm sure the will be the inspiration of many more blogs to come.

xoxo
