Hair Wars

  My daughter has curlier hair than me.  With that said, managing her hair is a tad bit difficult for me, especially since I am not a "hair"person.  This past Christmas I discovered how wonderful it is to have her hair properly straightened. I want to keep it straight on a regular basis. Hell I want to perm that shit! However, my family opposes that saying the heat will ruin her hair texture! They don't have to deal with it!  I just wonder how much easier it would be with a perm, but I don't want her years from now saying "if my mom never would have permed my hair, I would still have my sides." Am I wrong for wanting to simplify my life?
